I gotta admit - I love the slogan for Date.com, “Skip the Bar”. Datecom is one of the largest online dating sites on the internet today, and has a very extensive network of members, including a seniors community, gay and lesbian and even has its own events like singles cruises and such. Date.com is a worldwide site, so you can find other singles across the entire planet, from the US, to Canada, the UK, Europe, Africa, and anywhere else where they get online!

Although, for as large as this site is, I really think it is worth paying to get in. When you opt for a free membership to Date.com, you are allowed to post your profile, and search and look at other profiles for free, but there is where the buck stops. At Date.com, (and really, like most online dating sites) you have to have a paid membership to be able to message other singles or receive their messages. So they let you come in and look around, but if you want to actually USE the site to get a date, you have to pay.
If you consider the cost of a date, the prices are really pretty good. You can get a month’s membership at Date.com for less than the cost of dinner, and I am sure you will save that if you screen your online profiles carefully. The Gold Membership is $24.95 US for one month, $49.95 US for three months, $74.95 US for six months and $99.95 for one year. Based on a one year membership, the cost for a Gold membership is less than $9 per month. So dude, if you are spending THAT on a date, you must be taking these poor women to McDonalds and ordering off the dollar menu!
Date.com also has a great search capability. You can choose to meet other singles using so many variables its really amazing. You can search by religion, such as Jewish, atheists or catholic, by location, by age, by culture (Asian, Latin, etc) and more. Date.com also offers its members an exclusive magazine they put out, with information on profile writing, online dating, meeting women online and a lot more.
